Per Board action on January 11, 2012 Spalding Pool will not open in the foreseable future.

Spalding Pool features a specially designed shallow area escalating to six feet in depth. There are two, one meter diving boards above a 12 foot deep diving well. A wading pool for young children is located adjacent to the main pool. Spalding Pool is available for rent. The aquatics facilities open Memorial Day weekend.

Early Closure Policy
Facilities may close if:

• There are hazardous weather conditions in the area
• The air temperature drops below 68°
• There are less than 20 patrons in the pool.

Stop the Leaks!
In order to maintain a clean environment for all swimmers, if your child is still in diapers, then approved swim diapers MUST be worn at all times if your child will be entering the water. “Leaks” and accidents result in having to close the facility for sanitation and loss of swim time for everyone. Approved diapers are available for purchase at the Sholem Aquatic Center ticket office and concession stand or the Spalding Pool ticket office.

In order to receive resident admission rates, residents must present their resident ID card at the pool. Get your free resident ID today at Bresnan Meeting Center, Leonhard Recreation Center, Springer Cultural Center, Tennis Center, or Sholem (after opening day).
