Special Tree Notice
Champaign Park District will plant trees for these programs during the fall and spring planting season. Call the Landscape Supervisor at 398-2591 for more information on any of these program. Order deadline is February 1 for Spring tree plantings, and July 1 for Fall tree plantings.

Adopt-A-Tree
The Champaign Park District invites tree lovers to "Adopt-A-Tree" in their neighborhood park. A tree can be adopted by individuals, families, scout troops, church groups, or service organizations. Adoption can involve watering the tree, spreading mulch, or keeping an eye open for vandalism or disease. Participants will receive a map with their tree's location.

Memorial Trees
A living memorial tree is planted in honor of a loved one or a friend.

Growing Together Trees
The Growing Together Tree is a program for parents or soon-to-be parents to adopt a tree that has been planted in a Champaign Park District park during the year of their new child's birth. Together they grow; child and tree.
Those who adopt a Growing Together Tree receive an infant t-shirt, an announcement card, and a map with their tree's location. There is no fee.

Retirement Trees
Plant a living, growing retirement gift for the newly retired friend, relative, or co-worker to celebrate a successful career and a new phase of life. The retiree will receive a map with the tree's location and an announcement card.
