YOUTH
SOCCER - (Spring and Fall Seasons. See the Funformation Guide
for more details.)
Soccer is a sport in which every child can have fun while learning
about teamwork, developing individual skills, and maintaining physical
fitness. This program allows each child to participate in every
game. The size of the ball and the size of the field are proportional
to the age of the participants to help foster soccer skills, rule
knowledge, and game strategies. The fall season runs from September
to October and the spring season runs from April to May. Games are
played on Saturday mornings and some weekday evenings.
- Buddy
Forms - Buddy Forms allow two individuals to participate in
a sport together, on the same team. Buddy Forms are accepted for
the Fall only. NOTE: Coaches children
are not allowed to be listed on Buddy Form.
- Volunteer
Application - Volunteer coaches are the backbone of
our program. We can't have teams without them. If you're interested
in helping out, stop by the Bresnan Meeting Center and fill out
a volunteer application or download a copy and mail it in.

LISC MICRO SOCCER - (Spring and Fall seasons. See the Funformation Guide for more details.)
Call all Kindergartners! The Champaign Park District is teaming up with the Little Illini Soccer Club to introduce young kids to soccer. The clinic focuses on basic skills sets like passing, dribbling and shooting. Great way to prepare for the Youth Soccer Atom 1 League. Instructors will be licensed soccer coaches from Little Illini Soccer Club.
LISC SOCCER ACADEMY - (Spring and Fall seasons. See the Funformation Guide for more details.)
The Champaign Park District and the Little Illini Soccer Club are creating this program as a bridge between the recreational and competitive player. For the recreational player this provides an opportunity for one more day a week of soccer outside the Youth Soccer Leagues, high level instruction, and a chance to play against a higher skill level of players. For the competitive player this offers a fun and simple addition or alternative to club play. The program is not intended for beginning players.
The program meets once a week on Friday nights. The first part of the night will focus on different skill sets and then players will finish with scrimmages. Instructors will be licensed soccer coaches from Little Illini Soccer Club
