Want to take a few more swings before the frost hits the lush outfield grass?  Champaign Park District offers fall softball leagues that are sure to meet your needs.  All fall leagues are recreational and no awards are given.  There is no excuse to not take advantage of this opportunity!.

At the time of registration, an application and all fees are due.  Non-residents fee is built into league fees.  No registrations will be accepted without full payment!  If your team is sponsored, both the manager and your sponsor must complete and sign a sponsor form available on-line or at Bresnan Meeting Center.  Both signatures must be on the form for it to be valid.  Completed rosters with names, addresses, phone numbers, and signatures will be due the first day of games.

*Resident Fee Refund: Teams consisting of 60% or more Champaign-Urbana residents will receive a $90 refund.

League Offerings

• Monday Evenings – Mens A,B,C and Competitive Co-rec
• Friday Evenings – Traditional Co-rec
  Traditional co-rec is played similar to T-ball. All ten (10) batters bat in an inning and outs prevent a run from scoring. Games are 4 innings long and Male batters use a “mush ball”.

Starting Dates: Friday, May 4th, 2007 and Monday, May 7th, 2007.
Cost: $375 per team
Registration Deadline: Thursday, April 19th. To register, fill out an application form and bring it to Bresnan Meeting Center , 706 Kenwood Road , Monday – Thursday 8-5:30 and Friday 8-5. Please also plan to attend the League Meetings. Church League Rules (5/7/08)

GIRLS SOFTBALL CLINIC
This program introduces young girls, ages 7-8, to the game of softball. It is designed to accommodate each child according to their individual skill level. Emphasis is placed on having fun while learning the rules of the game, as well as the basic fundamentals of throwing, fielding, and batting. Participants must provide their own glove.
